As regards (i) of the Deputy's question the relevant information available relates to "agricultural forks" of which the average annual number produced in the State in the years 1955-1957 was 153,000.
It is not possible to furnish the information requested at (ii) of the Deputy's question without disclosing particulars relating to individual establishments. Such disclosure is prohibited by the Statistics Acts 1926 and 1946 under which the relevant information is collected at the annual Census of Industrial Production.
