Vol. 168 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Abolition of Children's Bus Fares: Increased Receipts.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the increased receipts which C.I.E. estimate that they will receive from passengers in the county boroughs of (a) Dublin, (b) Cork and (c) Limerick as a result of the decision to abolish the school children's bus fares.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave to another question on school children's bus fares on 6th May. The Deputy is no doubt already aware of the notice issued by C.I.E. to the effect that the midday concession granting cheap bus fares to school children will continue to operate until further notice.
