As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate it in the Official Report. The statement relates to the years ended 31st March, 1956 and 31st March, 1957; particulars for the calendar years are not readily available. The amounts shown are the total amount of fees paid to doctors in each area on foot of their agreements with health authorities for the provision, under the Health Act, 1953, of services for women in respect of motherhood and their infants up to the age of six weeks.
