Vol. 168 No. 9

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order, Nos. 1, 2 and 3. If the debate on No. 2, the Transport Bill, is concluded by 11.30 it is proposed to take, in No. 3, Votes Nos. 50 to 66, the Department of Industry and Commerce Votes, until 1.30; and then Votes Nos. 37 to 45, the Education group. Questions will be taken at 3 o'clock. It is proposed that Government business be not interrupted to-day to take Private Deputies' business. Should it happen that the Transport Bill will not be concluded by 11.30, we shall take the Education Estimates, Votes Nos. 37 to 45.

If education is finished what will happen then?

That is a six-mark question. I think I shall be in the Seanad.

May I ask is it intended to take the Industry and Commerce group from 11.30 to 1 o'clock?

If we start it at 11.30. If the Transport Bill goes any longer than that, I do not think we could start the Industry and Commerce Estimates. If the Transport Bill goes after 11.30 a.m. I think we shall have to take the Education Estimates.
