Vol. 170 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Intoxicating Liquor Acts: Area Exemption Orders.

asked the Minister for Justice if, in view of the divergency of decisions of district justices on applications for area exemption orders under the Intoxicating Liquor Acts, instructions will be issued to Garda superintendents throughout the country to apply for such orders during the periods of the tourist season.

It is not proposed to issue instructions as suggested.

As I am not satisfied with the Minister's reply, I propose, with your permission, Sir, to raise the matter on the Adjournment.

I shall communicate with the Deputy in the course of the afternoon.
