I am not aware that, for some time past, the ferry service for employees of An Roin Cosanta between Cobh and Haulbowline has been entirely inadequate. During the recent annual refit of one of the two passenger vessels while the other was out of commission, the substitute vessel, which had a much smaller passenger-carrying capacity, was required to make a double trip at certain times with some resultant delays. This temporary arrangement has now been terminated as the passenger vessel which was undergoing refit is back in service.
