Vol. 171 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Aer Lingus Flights to Rome.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if in view of the potentialities of increased traffic to Rome in the next 12 months Aer Lingus will consider the possibility of a direct flight to Rome from this country.

The Air Service Agreement between this country and Italy provides for the operation by an Irish airline of a direct service between Dublin and Rome. It is a matter for Aer Lingus to decide, having regard to traffic potentialities, when to inaugurate this service.
