Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unemployment Benefit and Assistance: Appeals against Disallowance.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state for the half years ended 30th September, 1958, 31st March, 1958, and 30th September, 1957, the number of persons who (a) appealed against decisions disallowing unemployment benefit and (b) succeeded in their appeals.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have it circulated in the Official Report.

The following is the statement:—
