asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of the towns of Gorey, New Ross, Enniscorthy and Wexford the number of persons in receipt of disabled persons maintenance allowance.

I am informed by the Wexford County Council that the number of persons in receipt of disabled persons maintenance allowances in each town mentioned is as follows:—Gorey 15, New Ross 40, Enniscorthy 39 and Wexford 64.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state in respect of all local authorities the average number of recipients of disabled persons maintenance allowance for the years 1958, 1957 and 1956.

Based on the total number of persons in receipt of disabled persons maintenance allowances at 31st March and 30th September each year, the average number of recipients of allowances for the years 1958, 1957 and 1956 in respect of all local authorities, was 16,003; 16,098 and 15,447, respectively.
