I am glad to say that the necessity does not arise as there are three organisations already in existence for aiding and assisting in the rehabilitation of discharged prisoners and Borstal detainees. The Guild of St. Philip, of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and the Discharged Protestant Prisoners' Aid Society deal with the after-care of discharged prisoners. The St. Patrick's Welfare Association is concerned with the after-care of youths discharged from St. Patrick's Institution.
