No representations have been received by me from Kildare County Council for supplementary road grants. Representations have, however, been received for an additional grant for the purpose of relieving unemployment in County Kildare. This is a matter in the first instance for the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance to whom the representations have been referred. The council has been informed accordingly.
