The area divided in County Roscommon in each of the years 1955-56, 1956-57 and 1957-58 was 1,276 acres, 1,135 acres and 2,156 acres respectively. Final figures for 1958-59 are not yet available but I am hopeful that allotment in County Roscommon during the current financial year will be about 4,000 acres.
