During the current year, the Land Commission hope to develop and allot turbary at Leamyglissane, near Castleisland, and also at Broughane and Doolaig South in the same district. In addition, it is expected that further turbary facilities will be made available on Tullamore bog, near Ballylongford, on which extensive allotment has already taken place. The possibility of operating a turbary scheme at Leitrim West, near Moyvane, is also under consideration.
