Crime Rates.
Crime statistics are compiled on the basis of Garda districts, which do not correspond to areas defined for local government purposes. The crime rate per thousand of population in the Garda districts concerned, inclusive of the cities, is estimated, on the basis of the 1956 Census, to be:—
