Vol. 176 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Extension of Rosses (Donegal) Regional Water Scheme.

21.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the date on which sanction was given by his Department to Donegal County Council for the proposed extension of the Rosses regional water scheme from Acres Catholic Church to

Meenmore, via Dungloe Road railway station; and when it is proposed to proceed with this extension.

The Acres-Meenmore scheme was included in a priority list of extensions to the Rosses Regional Water Supply, submitted to my Department in December, 1957, to which approval in principle issued in January, 1958.

No specific proposal to carry out this extension has been received from the County Council.
