Vol. 176 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Television Service: Controlling Authority.

24.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether the Government have yet decided what is to be the ultimate controlling authority for the proposed television service.

The Government have not yet reached a decision.

Could the Minister say when the Government are likely to come to a decision on this most important matter? There is much anxiety in the trade.

A decision will be taken as soon as possible.
