Physical Training is already an optional subject on the curriculum for national schools. I have under consideration the question of introducing the subject into all National Schools.
Is the Minister aware that unqualified teachers are giving physical training instruction? Usually, the schoolmaster is asked to put the children through a course of which he is entirely ignorant. Qualified teachers should be appointed to give physical training instruction.
