Particulars are available only in respect of the accounting half-years of the Agricultural Credit Corporation which are the half-years ended 30th April and 31st October. The amounts advanced by the Corporation in each half-year ended 30th April since 1954 (including cases guaranteed by the Minister for Agriculture) were as follows:—
Half-year ended 30th April:—1954, £568,000; 1955, £272,000; 1956, £209,000; 1957, £177,000; 1958, £200,000; 1959, £372,000.
