Vol. 178 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Review of Widows' and Orphans' Pensions in Kerry.

16.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state (a) the number of widows' and orphans' pensions cases reviewed by officers of his Department in County Kerry in each of the past two years, (b) the number of cases in which allowances were reduced, and (c) the number of cases in which payment of pensions was discontinued.

The information asked for by the Deputy is not readily available, as statistics in this form are not normally compiled by my Department. If the Deputy will repeat his question in a week's time I will be in a position to supply the information.
