Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Market for Butter and other Dairy Products.

40.

asked the Minister for Agriculture what steps have been taken to provide a regular market in Great Britain for butter and other dairy products.

There are no restrictions on the entry of Irish dairy products to the British market.

The marketing of dairy products is the subject of a report submitted by the Advisory Committee on the Marketing of Agricultural Products. As already announced, the conclusions of the Government on the recommendations made in this and other Reports by the Committee will be set out in a White Paper which will be issued shortly.
