asked the Minister for Lands if he will state how many families the Land Commission intend to migrate this Spring from West Galway to the Midlands; and from what townlands they will be taken.

It is hoped to migrate eight families from West Galway to the Midlands this Spring. Though some previews have already taken place, arrangements for the current season's migrations must still be regarded as tentative and it is not possible to indicate just now the townlands from which the migrants will be taken.
