Vol. 180 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Footwear Imports.

5.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state the value and number of pairs of footwear imported in the year ended 31st December, 1959, or at the nearest available date, from (1) Great Britain and the Six Counties and (2) other countries.

I propose, with the permission of the Leas-Cheann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the quantity and value of imports in 1959 originating in (1) Great Britain and the Six Counties and (2) other countries of each of the different types of footwear distinguished separately in the Official Import List.

Following is the statement:—
