Vol. 180 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lyre (Cork) National School.

45.

asked the Minister for Education when the proposed national school at Lyre, Banteer, County Cork, will be erected.

A grant has been sanctioned by my Department towards the cost of erecting a new national school at Lyre, Co. Cork. The arrangements for the erection of the new school are in the hands of the Commissioners of Public Works. It is likely that they will be in a position to invite tenders at an early date.

While I am not at present in a position to say when the building of the school is likely to commence, I do not anticipate that there will be any undue delay.
