There were 7 male workers in receipt of wages of between £4. 10/- and £7 per week employed in my Department in 1959, consisting of 1 temporary messenger and six temporary porters. Some of these were engaged during the year and hence did not work for the full year.
The total wages paid amounted to £1,707.
