Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Intermediate Drainage Scheme: Donegal Rivers.

11.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will include the Rivers Bundowras and Owena, County Donegal, in the intermediate drainage scheme under the Arterial Drainage Act and thereby make available large areas of arable land for cultivation.

The Owenea river is already included in the arterial drainage programme for larger catchment areas previously published. The Drowes river will be considered in connection with the approved extension of the programme covering intermediate rivers.
