Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Housing Expenditure by Cork and Dublin Corporations.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount expended in respect of the year ended 31st March, 1960, by the Cork Corporation on housing (a) directly and (b) by means of advances under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts, in the terms of a reply of the 8th March, 1960.

Capital expenditure by Cork Corporation in the year ended 31st March, 1960, under (a) Housing of the Working Classes Acts (b) Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts was £493,274 and £14,950 respectively. The Corporation also incurred expenditure of £10,537 on Capital Account in making supplementary repair and reconstruction grants to private persons under the Housing Acts.

asked the Minister for Local Government the amount in respect of the year ended 31st March, 1960, expended by the Dublin Corporation on housing (a) directly and (b) by means of advances under the Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts, in the terms of a reply of the 11th February, 1960.

Capital expenditure by Dublin Corporation in the year ended 31st March, 1960, under (a) Housing of the Working Classes Acts, (b) Small Dwellings Acquisition Acts was £833,358 and £778,229 respectively. The Corporation also incurred expenditure of £142,023 on Capital Account in making supplementary repair and reconstruction grants to private persons under the Housing Acts.
