Vol. 181 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Schemes of Economic Merit.

2.

asked the Taoiseach if, relative to his invitation to local authorities to submit schemes of economic merit, he will explain what is meant by such term.

By "schemes of economic merit" is meant projects that would, directly or indirectly, help towards increasing the output of goods and services.

Would the Taoiseach indicate the number of these schemes that were accepted, or were any at all accepted?

I think the Deputy should give notice of that question.

The answer must not be favourable or the Taoiseach would have had it.
