Vol. 181 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 2, 7 and 8 and, in No. 8, Votes 49 and 50. It is proposed to interrupt business at 7 p.m. to take No. 8 (Votes 49 and 50) and to resume No. 7 at 8.30. If No. 7 concludes before 10.30, it is proposed to resume No. 8. It is not proposed to interrupt Government business for Private Members' time.

Would it be convenient for the Taoiseach to say what he contemplates will be on the Order Paper for tomorrow?

I shall get in touch with the Deputy.

Will the Taoiseach say whether the intention expressed yesterday about taking Vote 47—Industry and Commerce—still holds good?

The Minister concerned is engaged in the Seanad and I am not quite sure when lie will be free.

If Votes 49 and 50 are not finished, is it proposed to continue them tomorrow or to interrupt the consideration of them and to take Vote 47 as promised yesterday? Is there any possibility the Taoiseach could let us know definitely this evening?

It depends upon the progress of business in the Seanad.

Could the Taoiseach say if the Intoxicating Liquor Bill will be taken this week as promised last week?

I thought we were to take it tomorrow morning.

I shall look into it.

We should like to learn something about Vote 47 later.
