asked the Taoiseach how much maize has been imported since last year's harvest, and at what price.

The total quantity of maize imported in the period from the 1st September, 1959 to 31st March, 1960, the latest date up to which figures are at present available, was 936,716 cwts., and the average c.i.f. price paid for it was £1 0s. 4d. per cwt.
