Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Gaeltacht: Piped Water Supply Proposals.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received proposals from Kerry County Council in connection with the provision of a piped water supply for Murreigh, Ballydavid and other districts under the Gaeltacht small water supply schemes; and, if so, what is the present position in regard to these proposals.

22.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received proposals from Kerry County Council for the provision of a piped water supply for Ballinrannig and other districts in the Ballyferriter area under the Gaeltacht small water supply schemes; and, if so, what is the present position in regard to these proposals.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 21 and 22 together.

The proposals in question were received in my Department and have been approved in principle. The submission of detailed documents in relation to the schemes is now awaited.
