Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Justice if he will give details of the functions involved and the whereabouts of the twenty-seven occasions in the past year on which the Gardaí provided a guard of honour for either the Taoiseach, the Tánaiste or the Minister for Justice.

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.
