Vol. 183 No. 5

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 6, 7 and 8 and in No. 7, Nos. 58, 59 and 46. If not already reached it is proposed to interrupt business at 6 p.m. to take No. 8 and when completed to resume the order. It is proposed that Public Business be not interrupted to take Private Members' Business.

Will the sitting days for next week be the same as this week?

As far as I know.

Can the Tánaiste say what is to be the Order of Business for tomorrow? Is it a continuation of this programme?

It will be.

Will the Local Government Estimate be taken tomorrow if it is reached?

I cannot answer that.

Local Government is in progress.

We shall continue today's business and take any other business it may be convenient to take tomorrow.

The Tánaiste will appreciate it is desirable to have some knowledge of what is likely to turn up. The debate on the Estimate for Local Government is in progress. It was adjourned for the Minister's convenience; he was not available and we went on to take other Estimates. We disposed of Fisheries and we propose to take Health today and the Dundrum Asylum, to be followed by Agriculture. The question I want to clarify is, having concluded today's business, are we going back to Local Government and finishing it or——

I appreciate the Deputy's point. We shall continue as ordered today and, if necessary and convenient, resume the debate on the Estimate for Local Government after the other Estimates have been disposed of.

Will Local Government be taken tomorrow?

If this programme is finished.

Will Health be taken tomorrow if it is not finished today?
