I have received proposals from Wexford County Council for the appointment of public health nurses for a number of districts in the county. In the case of Fethard the Council have proposed that a nurse be appointed to serve both No. 1 and No. 2 divisions of the district. These proposals are at present being examined in my Department and I hope to convey my decision on them to the local authority soon.
