Vol. 183 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Knocknagree (Cork) National Schools.

12.

asked the Minister for Education what is the position regarding the proposed new national schools at Knocknagree, County Cork.

The arrangements for the erection of the new national schools at Knocknagree are in the hands of the Commissioners of Public Works. It is understood that the preparation of working drawings is well advanced and it is expected that this work will be completed shortly. It will then be necessary to have a Bill of Quantities prepared before tenders can be invited for the erection of the new building. All these preliminary arrangements will necessarily take some time but every effort will be made to have the case expedited.
