I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving particulars of the proposals for the erection of new national and vocational schools in the County of Limerick and the present position in each case.

Plans have been submitted and are at present under consideration in my Department. The estimated cost of this school is £30,500. |
(3) Caherconlish |
A site has been procured and an educational survey of the area is nearing completion. It is hoped shortly to convey a decision on the Committee's proposal to prepare sketch-plans. No estimate of the cost is available. |
CITY OF LIMERICK: |

The sketch-plans and schedule of accommodation submitted for the adaptation of the former County Infirmary premises have been approved by my Department subject to certain amendments. An estimate of £72,500 has been furnished to my Department. |

|
Definite proposals in regard to this project have not been submitted by the Committee. |
