341 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for the Environment whether the grant allocation this year of £1.5 million for the Mulcon Valley section of the South Ring Road is sufficient to enable these important improvement works to proceed with required urgency.
The 1992 road grant allocation for the Mulcon Valley project represented my Department's best estimate, at the time the allocation was made, of the likely level of expenditure on the project during the year. The project is scheduled for completion in 1994. I am satisfied that this target will be met.
