Committee on Finance. - International Development Association Bill, 1960—Money Resolution.

I move:

That for the purpose of any Act of the present session to approve of the terms of the Agreement for the International Development Association and to provide for matters (including payments) related to that Agreement, it is expedient to authorise:—

(1) the making out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of—

(a) payments appropriate to be made to the International Development Association as provided for in such Act, and

(b) any payments in respect of any notes or other obligations created and issued by the Minister for Finance to the International Development Association under such Act; and

(2) the charge on the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of the principal and interest of any securities issued by the Minister for Finance for the purpose of borrowing under such Act, and the expenses incurred in connection with their issue.
