asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason for the delay in installing a telephone for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

It has not been possible to provide service for the person named so far because of a shortage of terminations at the local exchange. It is expected that service will be provided within about a year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason for the delay in reconnecting a telephone for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

As the telephone agreement has been terminated for non-payment of accounts it will be necessary to negotiate a new agreement with the person in question, before telephone service can be provided. She has been so informed.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the engineering work necessary for additional applicants in the Belper area near Tara, County Meath, to have telephones connected will be completed; and the nature of the work.

Cabling work to enable service to be provided for the applicants in the area is at present in progress and is expected to be completed within the next six months or so.

Cabling work to enable service to be provided for the applicants is expected to be completed towards the end of next year.

Cabling work to enable service to be provided for the applicants in the area is expected to be completed within about a year.

Cabling work to enable service to be provided for the applicants in the area is expected to be completed within the next six months or so.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if the telephone of a person (details supplied) in County Meath was disconnected simply because £500 would not be paid to change the name of the subscriber; if so, the reason; and when the telephone will be reconnected.

The telephone referred to has not been disconnected.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when the engineering branch of his Department will install the telephone of a person (details supplied) in County Clare as the work which was begun some time ago has not been completed.
