Vol. 186 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Occassional Licences in Dublin and Wicklow.

6.

asked the Minister for Justice the number of occasional licences and extensions granted in Dublin City and County and County Wicklow in respect of hotels, dance halls and clubs from July, 1960 to the latest available date.

The answer is in the form of a tabular statement, which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be circulated with the Official Report.

Following is the statement:

ORDERS made during period between 1st July, 1960 and 26th January, 1961, inclusive.

(NOTE:— There is no prescribed time for the making of applications for exemptions, etc., and some of them are made well in advance of the dates to which they relate while others are made only a few days beforehand. Accordingly, to facilitate the evaluation of the figures sought, they have been sub-divided, in the Table hereunder, to show what Orders, of those made between 1st July, 1960 and 26th January, 1961, were in respect of dates within that period and what Orders were in respect of dates after 26th January, including dates still to come.)
