Vol. 187 No. 1

Return to Writ—Sligo-Leitrim Constituency.

The Clerk made the following announcement:
I gcomhlíonadh Buan-Ordú 134 de Bhuan-Orduithe Dháil Éireann i dtaobh Gnó Phoiblí, tá orm a chraoladh gur toghadh Seosamh Mac Lochlainn, chun na Dála sa Chorrthoghchán a bhí ann an 1 Márta, 1961, do Dháilcheantar Contae Shligeach-Liatraim in ionad an Teachta Stiofán Ó Floinn, a fuair bás.
In compliance with Standing Order 134 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business, I have to announce that Joseph McLoughlin has been elected to the Dáil at the bye-election held on 1st March, 1961, for the County Constituency of Sligo-Leitrim in place of Deputy Stephen Flynn, deceased.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

The Deputy has asked me to express personal regret for his inability to attend, owing to a temporary indisposition. He hopes to avail of this day week for that purpose.

The radio broadcast the results of the election in Honduras.
