Vol. 187 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick General Post Office.

42.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs what the cause of the delay is in carrying out the badly-needed reconstruction of the General Post Office at Limerick.

The reconstruction work proposed for the Limerick Post Office building is extensive and the time required for preparation of the necessary detailed drawings and cost estimates preparatory to the placing of a contract has been longer than was anticipated. It is expected that the work will be put in hands later this year.
