The need for hydrographic surveys of our coastal waters is at present the subject of examination jointly by my Department and the other Departments concerned. I would also refer the Deputy to replies given by the Minister for Defence on 26th March, 1958, and 16th April, 1959, to questions by Deputy Larkin.
