Vol. 189 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Stradbally (Laois) Postal Arrangements.

50.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the unsatisfactory position of the postal arrangements at Stradbally, County Leix; and if he will arrange a later collection of the post in order to meet the request of local business people and others who cannot reply to mail by return of post under the present circumstances.

I have received representations from Laois County Council in this matter. While I cannot agree that the postal facilities at Stradbally have been correctly depicted in the question, it has been found possible to improve the despatching arrangements at that office.
