Vol. 189 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Water Supplies.

17.

asked the Minister for Local Government what the present position is regarding plans for the provision of a regional piped water supply for County Kerry and when work is likely to commence.

There are no proposals before my Department at present for the provision of a regional water supply scheme in County Kerry. I am not, therefore, in a position to say when work is likely to commence on any such projected scheme.

18.

asked the Minister for Local Government if his Department received proposals from Kerry County Council to extend the Castlegregory piped water supply to Kellyheight and Aughascala district; and, if so, if he will state the present position of the proposal.

No such proposal has been received by my Department.
