Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - North Dublin Regional Water Scheme.

42.

asked the Minister for Local Government when he received a recommendation from the Dublin County Council for the provision of the North County Dublin regional water scheme; what the cost will be; and what areas will be served by such scheme.

Amended proposals for a regional water supply for North County Dublin were received in my Department on the 30th December, 1960, and have been approved. The estimated cost of the scheme is £1,147,360 and when completed it will serve the county area north of the Liffey including Naul, Balbriggan, Skerries, Rush, Lusk, Swords, Portrane, Donabate and Blanchardstown.
