Vol. 189 No. 10

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 13, 14 and 15. If not already reached, it is proposed to interrupt business at 6 o'clock to take Nos. 14 and 15 and when completed to resume the order.

Will the Taoiseach say when it is proposed to circulate the Agricultural Workers (Holiday) (Amendment) Bill?

Perhaps the Deputy would ask the Whips.

I wonder if the Taoiseach has ascertained from the Minister for Local Government when it is likely that the amendments which he has in mind, if he has any in mind, on the Road Traffic Bill will be circulated as it would greatly help in preparing any amendments from this side if the Minister's amendments were circulated? It seems rather futile duplication of effort for all of us to draft amendments to the same end when our amendments would almost certainly have to be redrafted.

In connection with the Holidays Bill, will the Taoiseach bear in mind that this Bill and the Holidays Bill for industrial workers deal with parallel subjects and that it would be useful if we could see the second Bill while discussing the first?

We have that in mind.
