46.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the need for the provision of toilet conveniences for the use of the public at Newtownmountkennedy, County Wicklow, having regard to the number of tourists and day-trippers who visit the area; if any proposals for the erection of such conveniences have been made to his Department; and if action will be taken as a matter of urgency to provide such conveniences.

I have received no representations as to the need for the provision of public sanitary conveniences at Newtownmountkennedy and no proposal for the erection of such conveniences has been made to my Department. The matter is one in the first instance for Wicklow County Council.
