asked the Minister for Health whether there is any authority which allows those in control of local authority institutions caring for unmarried mothers to carry out a censorship of letters of those mothers maintained in those institutions.

Persons in control of local authority institutions for the care of unmarried mothers are not empowered under the Health Acts or Regulations made thereunder to take any action of the nature referred to by the Deputy.
