Vol. 190 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Athenry Estate.

35.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have acquired the Graigue Abbey Estate, Athenry, County Galway; if so, when it was acquired; and when it is intended to have it divided amongst the congests in that area.

From the information supplied, I am not quite clear as to the exact property which the Deputy has in mind. If he is referring to a commonage holding in the townlands of Graigabbey and Kilcornan, the Land Commission have no proceedings for acquisition of these lands.
