Vol. 190 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Immigration of Irish Citizens into United Kingdom.

9.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether his attention has been drawn to a report of 11th June, stating that immigration of Irish citizens into the United Kingdom was about to be restricted; whether he has been informed of any such impending action by the British Government; and, if so, what action he intends to take on the matter.

I have seen the report to which the Deputy refers.

I am not aware that there has been any substantial change in the position in this matter, as indicated in the replies given to questions in the House on 14th December and 15th February last.
